Prism Prize MVP Project Grant
So excited to be included in the inaugural round of the Prism Prize MVP Project Grant to make a music video for DANCE off of Tim Baker’s upcoming solo album!
Here Comes December
Just a quick update to highlight some exciting award news. Seconds was awarded the Shaw Media Fearless Female Director Award at the NSI Online Short Film Festival this month, and will be featured on the site throughout December for Fearless Female Director Month. So many females, so little fear – I love it! Last week, Seconds was also named one of the Top 12 Canadian Short Films by The Shorts Report, along with eleven other fantastic shorts. So exciting! Finally, I’m also extremely humbled to have been awarded the 2013 Best Short Film Award by the Women’s International Film and Television Showcase. It’s an incredible honour to be in such fine company. A pretty nice way to end the year as we put our heads down and prepare for the long winter ahead…
September
Admittedly, it has been a pretty exciting couple of weeks.
Last Wednesday it was announced that Seconds won the RBC TIFF Emerging Filmmaker Competition, and then on Monday we found out that Not Over Easy won all three awards at the NSI Online Short Film Festival. A huge congratulations (and indebted thank you) to all the incredible cast and crew who made these films with us!
